Logo Design Case Study

Step 1 - Design Brief

BBCLC, a child care centre wanted a logo for their upcoming prepaid card scheme "Steppin' Out". The client required an iconic logo which should display how easy it is for the parents to go out once they acquire BBCLC's child care services. Initially, the client wanted a child-centric theme which said something about going out.

The client had not specified any colors, but had shown a liking for blues, greens and black color. Based on these specifications, we presented these mockups to the client.

Step 2 - Initial Ideas

Step 3 - Modification

Of the mockups presented, the client liked variant 2 very much and requested that the focus of the design be changed from child to parent-oriented and specifically requested that the text be written in black and blue. Based on this feedback, we developed these modified designs.
